Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the purchase and use of all products and services from BL4CKOUT Labs. "BL4CKOUT Labs", "we", "us" and "our" include our subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors and related entities. "You" means the customer.

If you do not follow these terms, we may suspend or end your use of the product and take legal action where applicable.

The BL4CKOUT Plate is made for private, controlled settings: photography, exhibitions, car meets and shows, events, racetracks and private property.

It is not approved or legal for use on public roads. BL4CKOUT Labs prohibits and does not endorse its use on public roads, or in any way that breaks local, state, provincial, federal or international law.

You are responsible for confirming that buying, owning, installing and using the BL4CKOUT Plate is legal where you live. In some places, even buying or owning it may be restricted.

We make no guarantee about the product's legality in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any fines, penalties or legal consequences that result from its use or possession.

Our videos, images and ads on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google and other channels are promotional. Some use humour, irony or made-up scenarios to get attention. Lines such as "never paying a toll" are entertainment and branding. They do not endorse or encourage illegal or improper use.

Our ads and our packaging state that the product is for legal, private use only. If you act on something you believe our content implies, you are responsible for that choice.

Each cover is made to the dimensions listed on its product page. A cover sold for a region, for example Europe, may not match every plate size used in that region. Measure your plate before you order.

Your plate must be flat and no thicker than 2 mm to fit our bracket, because the cover is sealed in rigid glass that cannot bend. A cover that does not fit your plate is handled as a change-of-mind return under our Refund Policy.

Every order is subject to our acceptance. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected misuse, a pricing error or unavailable stock. If we cancel your order, you receive a full refund.

Cancellations you request carry a 15% fee, whether the order has shipped or not, as set out in our Refund Policy.

Orders usually ship the next business day. During busy seasons or when we receive a high volume of orders, processing can take a few extra business days, and we email you about any delay. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

We are responsible for packing, inspecting and shipping your order until it reaches customs in your country. After that, we are not liable for customs delays, holds or clearance issues.

Import duties, taxes and fees are your responsibility. We may prepay them (DDP) on some orders as a courtesy, but this is not guaranteed and should not be expected. Refused or unclaimed parcels are handled under our Refund Policy.

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns and cancellations carry a 15% fee, plus the outbound shipping and any return label we provide once the order has shipped. Items bought on sale or as part of a promotion are final sale for change of mind.

Every plate has a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects, provided the warranty tape has not been removed. Items that arrive damaged must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

The BL4CKOUT Plate is a privacy accessory for off-road and private use. It does not protect against theft, vandalism or any other criminal activity.

BL4CKOUT Labs is not liable for any damage, loss or legal issue that results from the use or misuse of the product, including indirect, incidental or consequential damages, however they arise. You take full responsibility for how you use the product.

By buying the BL4CKOUT Plate, you agree to use it responsibly, ethically and lawfully, and to follow every law that applies to it. Any misuse, intentional or not, is your responsibility.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute about these terms, the BL4CKOUT Plate, or any other product or service from BL4CKOUT Labs is resolved under Canadian jurisdiction, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.

We may update these terms at any time without prior notice. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the BL4CKOUT Plate after a change means you accept the updated terms.

By buying and using the BL4CKOUT Plate, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms, and that they form a binding agreement between you and BL4CKOUT Labs. If you disagree with any part of them, do not buy or use the product.
