Very poor quality product. First one arrived and the glass was broken. I sent them a picture but they didn’t accept it so I had to BUY another glass. Second glass came fine, but upon installing it cracked. The way their frame is made it is very difficult to install without breaking the glass. I contacted them and they directed me to buy another glass. Third one before the unit was even wired in.
Went and bought the Vusi Vanish. What a different experience! Everything installed easily and their frame is a much softer material. Not only that, but it is lighter when off and darkened when on. Exactly what you want. So I highly recommend the Vusi product!
My experience with BL4CKOUT Labs has been disappointing. I requested a return for the Battery Pack Holder & Matte Film Protector because I realized I didn’t need it, but customer service refused to refund me, claiming all purchases are final sale. However, their website advertises a 30-day return policy, and the refund policy says returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Being told I can’t return it without a clear explanation is frustrating, especially when their response was to suggest gifting it away or reselling it instead.
The installation was also much harder than advertised. I was installing it on an SUV, and there wasn’t a clear, vehicle-specific video showing how to wire everything properly. For a product marketed as easy to install, I expected better instructions.
Another disappointment was the plate cover itself. The promotional pictures and videos made it look completely clear when switched off, but in person, it has a noticeable tint. That wasn’t what I expected, and it raises concerns about whether the plate will be clearly visible and whether I’ll still attract unwanted attention from law enforcement.
Overall, I expected better transparency, clearer installation guidance, and more consistent customer service for a product that cost this much. Based on my experience, I’d advise potential buyers to carefully review the return terms and look into the actual appearance and installation requirements before purchasing.
This has to be the best impulse purchase I've ever made. Hands down. Installed faster than the video LOL.
couldnt be happier, plate is very clear when off and fully blacked out when on. Just like advertised
I was pretty skeptical at first but they are legit, frame looks high quality and installation was very easy, fast shipping too. BIMMER ON TOP
Installed it on my M4, installation was very easy since battery is located in the back, but I had to remove one trim
I don't like buying stuff off facebook ads because I've been scammed before, but no these guys actually shipped my order
